Dakin Dairy Farms season: Dakin Dairy Farms "Farm Fun" season features guided farm tours, hayrides and "old-fashioned country picnics" under the 5-acre oak hammock. Bring your own blanket or use their picnic tables. Picnic includes slow-roasted pulled pork, an "It's All About The Cheese" menu, chili, Angus hot dogs, marshmallows roasted over a campfire, ice cream and more. Enjoy free the 5-acre Farm Fun Play Area with purchase of picnic. "It's a Country Christmas" featuring Christmas Carol Hayrides, a "live" manger, family photo opportunities and more through Christmas. Costumes will be availabe. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, October-April. Farm tours cost $10 are are at noon Wednesday-Friday and 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Saturdays. "ICE! Featuring Dreamworks' Merry Madagascar": ICE! Florida's favorite frigid Christmas tradition, with over 20,000 square-feet of frosty 9-degree bliss played out in a winter wonderland of exciting hand-carved sculptures will be open daily through Jan 1, including the holidays. Featuring two-story tall ice slides carved entirely from two million pounds of ice and an all-new, awe inspiring tribute to the unforgettable DreamWorks' Animation TV classic Merry Madagascar. ICE! is kept at a frigid 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure to dress appropriately: closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. Hooded winter coats are provided for your warmth and comfort inside the attraction and are available in a variety of sizes, including sizes for children. Hats and gloves are strongly recommended and may be purchased on site at the ICE! house gift shop. Event hours vary. Tickets: $18.99 and up for adults, $9.99 and up for children. Big Cat Habitat: Big Cat Habitat has changed to its winter schedule. Visitors can have a up-close view of exotic and other animals at the sanctuary with special encounters daily and on Sunset Safaris 12:30-4 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays. Fun and educational animal demonstrations are at 1:30 p.m. daily. The habitat will close at 6:30 p.m. through Nov. 22. Admission: $15 adults, $7 children ages 12 and younger. Mote Marine: "Sea Lions, On the Water's Edge," is a limited-time exhibit featuring Patagonian and California sea lions through April 28 in the Aquarium. The exhibit will star Patagonian sea lions Stella, 8, Rose, 7, and Kitty, 7, and over time will feature other individual sea lions, each with a distinct personality. The exhibit will include special narrated demonstrations at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. each day. Visiting the exhibit will be included with regular Mote admission. Hermanns Royal Lipizzan Stallions: 32755 Singletary Road, Myakka City

Hermanns' Royal Lipizzan Stallions, unquestionably the rarest, most aristocratic breed of horses in the world will perform in their 2012-2013 Winter Training and Practice Rehearsal Shows 3 p.m. Thursdays-Fridays and 10 a.m. Saturdays Dec. 20-May 4. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Guests can deck the halls with yuletide cheer during select evenings of holiday splendor at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom through Dec. 21. Featuring lively stage shows, spectacular fireworks, a unique holiday parade and twinkling lights, this party also includes complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, and a prediction of snow flurries on Main Street, U.S.A. "Holidays in Space"; Guest can celebrate the holiday sights and sounds as Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex presents the second annual "Holidays in Space" now through Jan. 1. The Visitor Complex will be adorned with a stunning array of holiday decorations and feature daily visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. through Dec. 24, as well as heartwarming performances of favorite holiday songs by strolling carolers daily at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon in the Rocket Garden, 2 and 3 p.m. at the Saturn V Center, and 4:15 p.m. in the Space Shop. Guest can learn about the holiday traditions of the International Space Station partners: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States. "Holidays in Space," is included in admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Admission: $50 adults, $40 children ages 3-12. New "Christmas Town" at Busch Gardens: Busch Gardens launched the web site for the park's biggest Christmas celebration ever. Busch Gardens theme park is producing its first-ever after-hours Christmas event "Christmas Town," with the spotlight on Christmas lighting, special holiday decorations, shows, shopping and musical guests. The park will have distinct zones of decorations such as animal pattern decorations in the Cheetah Hunt walkway, and children's TV characters decked out in holiday great at Sesame Street of Fun, and pink, twinkling lights in the flamingo area. Some popular rides and coasters will be open on event nights, and Christmas Town visitors will also be able to experience many attractions not available during the day. Guests will board a steam locomotive for a carol sing-along, encounter penguins and visit Santa's house, experience real snowdrifts and other snow-related activities, and enjoy its traditional Christmas shows such as Christmas on Ice, Christmas from the Heart, Christmas Celebration. Christmas Town programming will be held 6-11 p.m. Fridays-Sundays through Dec. 23. General admission: $39.99 per person. Children's tickets purchased online are $9.99 for ages 3-9. Lowry Park Zoo Wild Wonderland: Meet Santa and his merry real reindeer 6:30-10 p.m. Dec. 20-23, 26-30, and chill out on the new Arctic Blast Ice Slide, 100 feet of frozen fun in the Reindeer Games area, see penguins and for the first time, African animal on exhibit under the starry night sky. More merriment awaits with charming animated displays, a million twinkling lights, free Zoo rides, and traditional holiday treats. Call for admission prices. Guests can celebrate the season with the Zoo's primate family 11 a.m. Dec. 14 as they watch the primates open special presents from the Zoo staff and docents as part of their enrichment program.
