MANATEE -- A man was robbed of his cell phone Monday afternoon in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 12:30 p.m., the victim was in a parking lot in the 4200 block of 14th Street West trying to sell his phone to someone who responded to an online ad, when he was approached by three suspects. One of them pushed him down and they took his phone, according to a news release.

The three suspects fled west on Cortez Road in a maroon Toyota Scion with a yellow tag, according to the report.

The victim was not hurt, according to the sheriff's office.
