Raul Elizalde, president and chief investment officer of Sarasota-based investment advisory firm Path Financial, has been named chair of the Asset Management Committee for the State College of Florida Foundation. The committee manages approximately $40 million in assets.

Adams and Reese Partner Tom Dart, in the firm's Sarasota office, has been appointed to the Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission by Gov. Rick Scott.

Dart's term began Oct. 11 and ends July 1, 2016.

Wagner Realty announced the top producers in their offices for November. Listing honors went to Judy McCauley, the Royal Team at El Conquistador; Sandy Price at Cortez; Lynda Melnick at Manatee East; Ed Kinkopf at Manatee Avenue West; Debra Ibasfalean in Anna Maria; Margo MacKenzie and Iva Fadley Dane at First Street in Sarasota; Dorothy Cook on Longboat Key; Rick Mace and Debi Chaffee at Lakewood Ranch and Ken Clanton in the commercial division.

Barbarann Roberts has joined Kenneth Jarvis, PLLC, Certified Public Accountants as a staff accountant. She previously served as corporate controller. She will be primarily responsible for financial statement preparation and client consulting.

Jarett Curtis has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager for the Gulf Gate Branch of IberiaBank. Curtis previously served as assistant manager for Palmer Ranch branch in Sarasota. He has more than a decade of banking experience and joined IberiaBank in 2009.

Michael J. Fuller has been appointed as managing director for Northwestern Mutual in Sarasota. The departing managing director Cody K. Dolly has accepted a promotion as chief development officer of the Northwestern Mutual office in New York City. His duties/responsibilities will include recruiting and training financial representatives, managing the office and selling financial service products.

The Best Lawyers in America has named William W. Merrill III of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A., as the 2013 Litigation -- Land Use and Zoning "Lawyer of the Year" for the Tampa area.

Charlotte Hedge of Premier Sotheby's International Realty has been named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Women's Council of Realtors, Sarasota Chapter, in recognition of her career achievements.

Dr. Karim Yamout of Carter Psychology Center received an award and was honored by the medical staff of Manatee Memorial Hospital at its annual meeting. The award honors Dr. Yamout's recently published research on the impact of sleep disorders on oxygen levels, memory and other intellectual functions.
