'Catch Me If You Can' at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota

Based on the 2002 film of the same name starring Leonardo DiCaprio, "Catch Me If You Can" is a musical comedy that follows the story of real-life con man Frank Abagnale.

With music by the "Hairspray" team of Marc Shaiman and Scott Whittman, it features a book by Terrence McNally ("Love! Valour! Compassion!") that is also based on Abagnale's 1980 autobiography.

The show premiered on Broadway last April and ran through September.
