SARASOTA — Traffic was flowing freely by about 1:30 p.m. Saturday after a Tough Mudder race created delays on Interstate 75 near exit 205 in Sarasota.
About 11:30 a.m., southbound lanes were backed up approximately five miles from the exit leading to State Road 72, known as Clark Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Northbound traffic in the same area was backed up approximately one mile.
