MANATEE -- Two masked gunmen late Thursday robbed a Bradenton restaurant and forced two employees into a freezer, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
About 8 p.m., the gunmen entered through the rear screen door at the New China restaurant, 6045 26th St. W. At gunpoint, they stole the employees' personal items and cash from the restaurant, according to a news release. They then forced the employees into a freezer and fled the restaurant in an unknown direction.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspects were described as being dressed all in black. One suspect was "heavy," and the other was described as "skinny," according to the sheriff's office.
