Woman robbed at Bradenton business

MANATEE -- An employee of an Internet gaming hall in Bradenton was robbed as she was opening the business on Thursday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 8:08 a.m., the woman was opening Spin City of Bradenton, 3304 First St. W., when she was approached by a man who punched her twice in the side. He then made her open the safe and removed cash, according to a news release.

The suspect then hit the victim one more time and fled out the rear door, the sheriff's office said.

The suspect was described as standing about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with a slim build. He was wearing jeans, white sneakers and a charcoal hoodie, according to the sheriff's office.
