Weather alert: A sunny, windy Thursday predicted for Bradenton

MANATEE -- Thursday will be mostly sunny and windy in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters were calling for mostly sunny skies and a high near 80 with east-northeasterly winds of 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday night, skies were expected to turn partly cloudy, with a low around 61 and east-northeasterly winds of 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Almost identical conditions are expected through the weekend, according to the Weather Service.
