Sarasota sheriff's office releases photos of armed robbery suspect

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance identifying an armed suspect who robbed a cashier at Beall’s Outlet, 4084 Cattlemen Road Friday night.

Witnesses say a man walked into the store at 7:05 p.m., pointed a knife at salespeople and demanded cash from the register, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. He fled the store and left on a black bicycle.

The suspect is described as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds, and having blond hair.
