officials
BRADENTON -- The League of Women Voters and Manatee Tiger Bay Club invite the citizens of Manatee County to meet their newly elected representatives at a celebration reception 5-7 p.m. Nov. 29 at Ezra Café, 5629 Manatee Ave. W.
Admission is $20 a nperson and will include hors d'oeuvres, music and non-alcoholic beverages. Cash bar available.

Republican women to enjoy Christmas entertainment
BRADENTON -- The Women of Manatee County Republican Club will meetDec. 7 at the Bradenton Country Club.
Social time begins at 11:30 a.m. and the lunch meeting at noon.

BRADENTON -- The Manatee County Legislative Delegation meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-noon Dec. 7 in the Manatee County Commission Chambers, 1112 Manatee Ave. W.

Manatee Forum to have holiday program at meeting
BRADENTON -- Manatee Forum, Republican Women Federated meets at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at Pier 22, 1200 First Ave. W.
There will be a musical salute to veterans. Mem-bers are asked to bring Crystal Lite packets for troops, to be delivered by Manasota Operation Troop Support.
Also planned: installation of officers, recognition of new members and a Christmas gift exchange.

East Manatee GOPplans Toys for Tots brunch
PERIDIA -- The East Manatee Republican Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 13 for its annual Toys for Tots brunch at Peridia Golf and Country Club, 4950 Peridia Blvd
Members are asked to bring an unwrapped toy or toys, as many as possible. They will be collected by a club Marine, David Miner, for distribution.
Guest speaker will be Scott Bill, father of a Navy SEAL, Brian Bill, who was killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan along with many others from SEAL Team 6.
Christmas music will be played by Cathy Faust. All Republican elected officials are invited to attend.
