Music Fest

PALMETTO -- The Hernando De Soto Historical Society with CTQ 106.5 presents the De Soto Music Fest 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, 1402 14th Ave. W., Palmetto.

Some of country music's top performers who will attend include Gretchen Wilson, Easton Corbin, Love & Theft, Craig Campbell with local bands Lawyers, Guns & Money and the Dr. Dave Band.

Gates open at 11 a.m. with continuous entertainment throughout the day into the night. Tickets are $29.99 general admission. VIP: $100 (first five rows includes food and drinks) purchased online only.

Singer Karen Greenleyto perform at Beach Market

BRADENTON BEACH -- Singer, songwriter, entertainer Karen Greenley will be performing at the Beach Market, 1504 Gulf Drive, at Coquina Beach 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday .

The Beach Market is at the trolley stop, concession stand area.

The market will be open with fresh produce, arts and crafts, jewelry, local artists, sand sculptures, purses, wood works and more.
