Masked gunmen rob Bradenton game room

November 19, 2012

MANATEE -- Manatee sheriff's investigators are looking for three masked gunmen who robbed a Bradenton game room last week.

About 11 p.m. Thursday, the gunmen -- one armed with an AK-47 rifle and the others with handguns -- entered the Fun Spot 2, 5529 Manatee Ave. W, and ordered nine customers to the ground, according to a news release.

The suspects took the victims' purses and wallets and entered the back office. They emptied a cash register and took the safe. They then left the business and fled in an unknown direction in a small dark-colored four-door sedan, according to the report.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office did not release information about the robbery until Monday afternoon.

The report stated "the suspects' skin was completely covered with clothing and they wore masks and gloves." No other physical description was provided.
