Lakewood Ranch’s Premier Sports Campus becoming a known destination Description: A year into operation, the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch is quickly becoming one of the top facilities in the nation. Among the organizations to rent space at the 22-field site in the past year are U.S. Soccer, DC United of the MLS, and 3D Lacrosse, a national lacrosse training organization. The Canadian Football League has inquired about using the campus and in June, NFL St. Louis Rams head coach Ray Sherman will host a youth football camp at the site.
