MANATEE -- An attempted strong-arm robbery was reported Saturday night in the parking lot of El Paisanos, 5803 15th St. E.

A juvenile sleeping in a vehicle in the parking lot was awakened by two men, one of whom said: “Give me all your money and your phone.”

The man punched the victim in the face. The victim reached over to the other side of the vehicle, as if he was reaching for something, and the suspects fled the scene. The victim was unhurt. Nothing was taken.
