Sarasota Film Society 2012 Cine-World Film Festival: multiple locations

Sarasota Film Society has announced the schedule of films for its 23rd annual Cine-World Film Festival is ongoing through Nov. 18, featuring a wide range of quality films from all over the globe, including movies from the USA, Israel, Germany, Australia, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Chile, Brazil and more. The line up includes "Quartet," "Silver Linings Playbook," "The Fitzgerald Family," "Christmas," "Head Games," and "Amour." Screenings will be held at Burns Court Cinemas, 506 Burns Lane, Sarasota, and special screenings at Lakewood Ranch Cinemas, 10715 Rodeo Dr. No. 8, Lakewood Ranch. Annual Ponies under the Mustang and Ford Show: Main Street, Lakewood Ranch

The Mustang Club of West Central Florida will hold its Annual Ponies under the Mustang and Ford Show 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 18 featuring Mustang and Ford enthusiasts from throughout the region competing for awards. There will be outstanding examples of restored and preserved older and newer Mustangs and a prize drawing. Part of the proceeds will benefit TideWell Hospice and Southeastern Guide Dogs.
