Dakin Dairy Farms season: Dakin Dairy Farms "Farm Fun" season features guided farm tours, hayrides and "old-fashioned country picnics" under the 5-acre oak hammock. Bring your own blanket or use their picnic tables. Picnic includes slow-roasted pulled pork, an "It's All About The Cheese" menu, chili, Angus hot dogs, marshmallows roasted over a campfire, ice cream and more. "ICE! Featuring Dreamworks' Merry Madagascar": ICE! Florida's favorite frigid Christmas tradition, with over 20,000 square-feet of frosty 9-degree bliss played out in a winter wonderland of exciting hand-carved sculptures will be open daily through Jan 1, including the holidays. Featuring two-story tall ice slides carved entirely from two million pounds of ice and an all-new, awe inspiring tribute to the unforgettable DreamWorks' Animation TV classic Merry Madagascar. Relive the story of how Alex the Lion and his friends saved Christmas after Santa and his reindeer crash onto the island of Madagascar. ICE! is kept at a frigid 9° Fahrenheit. Big Cat Habitat: Big Cat Habitat has changed to its winter schedule. Visitors can have a up-close view of exotic and other animals at the sanctuary with special encounters daily and on Sunset Safaris 12:30-4 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays. Fun and educational animal demonstrations are at 1:30 p.m. daily. The habitat will close at 6:30 p.m. through Nov. 22. Admission: $15 adults, $7 children ages 12 and younger. Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament: Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is inviting guests to travel back to the 11th Century with its new show. While some of the most popular traditions remain such as live jousting, sword fights, horsemanship and falconry, the show offers many new elements and a new story, battle scenes, costumes, new horse dressage, equine presentations by pure Spanish horses, Quarter horses, Friesians and Menorcans, a new musical score and an upgraded menu for the utensil-free meal. Cirque Italia "ACT XII" at MOSI: Cirque Italia comes to MOSI's adjacent property now through Dec. 2, to perform "ACT XII," its 2012 opening show with talented artists from across the world and will feature unique aerial acts, hand-balancing acts, contortionists, hula hoops and many more stunning performances under a customized traveling tent. Lowry Park Zoo: Lowry Park Zoo will host the following events in November:

n Fisher-Price Little People Live Holiday Show: Join the fun with singing, dancing and surprises at the Fisher-Price Little People Live Holiday Show and discover the true meaning of the holiday spirit in this live 40-minute musical show. Performances will be 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17-18 in the Zoo's Safari Lodge. The shows are on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached and are included free of charge with Zoo admission.

n Fiesta del Coqui: Join the Zoo for the second Annual Fiesta del Coqui, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 18, a party with live music, crafts, activities and food to celebrate Hispanic culture and the tiny frog of Puerto Rico, the coqui, threatened with extinction. Learn about these and other frogs and toads and what you can do to help protect them. Free with Zoo admission.

New "Christmas Town" at Busch Gardens: Busch Gardens launched the web site for the park's biggest Christmas celebration ever. TIckets are now available online for Nov.30-Dec. 23. Busch Gardens theme park is producing its first-ever after-hours Christmas event "Christmas Town," beginning Nov. 30. Spotlight will be on Christmas lighting, but also included will be special holiday decorations, shows, shopping and musical guests. The park will have distinct zones of decorations such as animal pattern decorations in the Cheetah Hunt walkway, and children's TV characters decked out in holiday great at Sesame Street of Fun, and pink, twinkling lights in the flamingo area. Some popular rides and coasters will be open on event nights, and Christmas Town visitors will also be able to experience many attractions not available during the day. Guests will board a steam locomotive for a carol sing-along, encounter penguins and visit Santa's house, experience real snowdrifts and other snow-related activities, and enjoy its traditional Christmas shows such as Christmas on Ice, Christmas from the Heart, Christmas Celebration and some added shows such as Jimmy Osmond's Christmas Jukebox, with nightly performances, and a Jars of Clay concert at Gwazi capping off the evenings. Christmas Town programming will be held 6-11 p.m. Fridays-Sundays Nov. 30-Dec. 23. General admission: $39.99 per person. Children's tickets purchased online are $9.99 for ages 3-9.
