MANATEE -- Florida Highway Patrol is looking for the hit-and-run driver who started a chain-reaction accident on State Road 64 on Wednesday morning.
About 6 a.m., two vehicles were stopped behind each other on eastbound State Road 64 at the intersection with 66th Street East, when a third vehicle hit one of the stopped vehicles, pushing it into the back of the other, according to FHP.
The driver that started the accident then fled the scene, according to a news release.
No injuries were reported.
The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a white, four-door vehicle with damage to the front. Part of the license tag was "606" according to FHP.
