MANATEE -- Afternoon showers are possible Wednesday in Bradenton.
The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 81 and east-northeasterly winds of 7 to 9 mph. There is a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., according to forecasters.
Wednesday night, skies were expected to be partly cloud. Forecasters said the low should be around 61, with east-northeasterly winds of about 6 mph.
