Lakewood Ranch fell 3-2 in its Class 6A state semifinal match to St. Augustine on Tuesday afternoon at the Silver Spurs Arena.
The Mustangs won the first two games 25-19, then fell 25-23, 25-20 and 15-10.
It was Lakewood Ranch's first appearance in the state volleyball final four. The Mustangs finished 23-6.
