Kudos to Manatee County Animal Services, others in animal rescue

November 7, 2012

It is very important to me that you publish my letter as it is my way to thank those involved in the attempt to rescue animals in need and to point out to the public what great efforts people will go to. Animal Services, they are not the “dog catcher!” They are people who care and help. Joel Richmond, enforcement supervisor, helped by sending to our aid officer Steve Bell, who gave us tireless effort. He is great! Officer Michael Kriebel of the Bradenton Police Department was equally helpful, as was Officer Robert Meyer. This rescue was completed with the aid of Sue Kolze of Animal Network Inc. and Mary Lupe of Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc. And a big thank you to Dr. Terry Clekis, DVM. Carole Hudson Bradenton
