MANATEE -- A 27-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday after he allegedly stole a woman's cash and then chased her with a knife when she tried to retrieve her money, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 10:45 p.m., the victim was standing in front of a trailer in the 3700 block of Manatee Avenue West, when Paul Davis, who also lives in the park, grabbed $30 out of her hand and went to his trailer. When the victim pursued him, he grabbed a knife and chased the victim away, "threatening her with the knife the entire time," a news release states.

Responding deputies located Davis and arrested him on a charge of armed robbery. He was being held without bond at the Manatee County jail.
