Manatee deputies arrest burglary suspect after car break-ins

MANATEE -- Deputies early Monday arrested a 35-year-old man after he was spotted breaking into an unlocked car in the 1100 Mallorca Drive in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

After receiving the report at about 1:20 .m., deputies set a perimeter and a police dog tracked for the suspect. Deputies found three unlocked cars that had been burglarized, according to a news release.

A short time later, the police dog and handler found and Todd Aalberg, who had items that been stolen from the cars, according to the report.

Mallorca Drive is west of 75th Street West, near Palma Sola Bay.
