Armed robbery reported in Bradenton

Two men were robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning outside their home in Bradenton, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

The two men were standing in their driveway at about 2 a.m. in the 6000 block of Third Street E., when two men approached them, one carrying a black semi-automatic pistol, according to an incident report.

The victims, who do not speak English, could not understand what their assailants were saying, but handed over their wallets to the gunman, the report said.

The suspects walked a short distance away, got into a vehicle and drove southbound. The suspected were described as male, between 20-25 years old. One suspect was about five foot, 10 inches tall with short hair, wearing a black shirt and red beanie cap. The gunman was about six feet tall, with dreadlocks, wearing a jacket and hat, the report said.
