The scoop: A year after going 10-1, the Sentinels won their first game Saturday against Southwest Florida Christian. FMEC graduated 18 seniors rom last year. ... Riley Escalle had four receiving TDs last week for the Sentinels. ... The Falcons are coming off their bye week. ... RB Herman Israelsson is sixth in the area in rushing (530 yards) and is averaging nearly 5 yards per carry. ... Tim Nutter leads the Falcons in sacks (four), while Nick Rodhouse (48) and Bradley Beazant (47) lead the team in tackles. ... This marks Saint Stephen's final home game of the season. The Falcons do stay close to home Nov. 2 when they head to Out-of-Door Academy.

Prediction: Evangelical Chr. 35, Saint Stephen's 14.
