MANATEE — The LPGA Symetra Tour is returning to Sara Bay Country Club in April for its second tournament.

But there's a twist this time around.

The women's professional golf event is getting a title sponsor for the first time following the success of last year's inaugural tourney announced in a press conference Tuesday.

The Guardian Retirement Championship, as it will be known, is set for April 22-28. Guardian Insurance & Annuity Company will sponsor the tournament for the next two years. Additionally, All Faiths Food Bank is the event's main charity partner for a second consecutive year. Guardian donated a check for $1,500 for the charity on Tuesday.
