Ranch salon to hold 'Clip for the Cure'

LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Supercuts of Lakewood Ranch is joining more than 7,400 Regis corporate salons across North America for the annual Clip for the Cure event on Oct. 13.

To date, Regis stylists have raised $9 million for breast cancer research.

Ten percent of the proceeds from every haircut at Supercuts of Lake-wood Ranch will be donated to the Regis Foundationfor Breast Cancer Research.

Ten percent of net proceeds from all privatelabel product sales willbe donated to the foundation.

Salons will sell $1 breast cancer awareness magnets and exclusive pink bracelets for $12.

Gateway Bank raises $2,657 for heart association

BRADENTON -- Gate-way Bank has raised $2,657for the American HeartAssociation's local Heart Walk.

The team raised $2,157 in donations, while the bank provided a $500 corporate match.

SARASOTA -- Coquina Beach will be hosting a weekly market at the beach at the Trolley drop-off/concessions stand area every Sunday from Nov. 18 to April 28 except Jan. 13 and March 3.

The open-air market at the beach will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market is seeking vendors.

Mosaic announcesquarterly dividend

MANATEE -- The Mosaic Co. declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share on the company's common stock Friday. The dividend will be paid on Nov. 15 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 1.

The declaration and payment of any future dividends is subject to approval by Mosaic's board of directors.
