Romney in St. Petersburg today

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will be in St. Petersburg today for a rally beginning at 6:15 p.m. at Pier Park, 550 Second Ave. NE.

Gates open at 3:45 p.m. Tickets are required to attend with a limit of eight tickets per reservation. Tickets are free. They are available at local Romney campaign offices through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or at mittromney.com/FL.

Attendees will pass through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. Items prohibited include bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs.
