MANATEE - The Manatee County school board will host three public hearings in October so that the public can voice ideas and opinions on how the school board conducts a search for the next superintendent, as well as what qualifications they want in a new district leader.
Hearings are scheduled for: 6 p.m. Oct. 11 at Braden River High School Auditorium 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at Manatee High Schools Davis Theatre 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at Palmetto High School Auditorium
The board will hold a workshop concerning the superintendent search at 3 p.m. on Oct. 22., before the scheduled board meeting at 5:45 p.m.
