Tony McVay did not seem to mind the damp and humid job of cleaning the walls of the United Way of Manatee County facility. The people in his line of fire did not have much to say about the surprise shower. McVay, who normally works on the float crew at the Mosaic Company, traded a day of working with 22-inch pipes in phosphate mines for the smaller hose of a pressure washer as Mosaic volunteers cleaned and landscaped the United Way facility during a recent beautification project.GRANT JEFFERIES/Bradenton Herald
