Brad Paisley likely to play new single 'Southern Comfort Zone' at Gary Amphitheater in Tampa

September 27, 2012

Grammy-winning country star Brad Paisley will likely be performing his new single, "Southern Comfort Zone," at the Gary Amphitheatre in Tampa on Friday.

It's the first song from his yet-to-be-titled album due out April 9.

Paisley co-wrote the tune and reportedly recorded it in an old farmhouse he turned into a studio. He told The Associated Press the song starts to rock in the middle, and has a church choir come in at the end.

Paisley's long list of country No. 1 country hits includes last year's "Old Alabama" and dates back to "He Didn't Have to Be Me" in 1999.

The Band Perry and Scott McCreery open.

Details: 4:30 p.m. Sept. 28, Ask Gary Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa. Tickets: $38.25-$79.25. Information: 813-287-8844 or www.ticketmaster.com.
