"Art after 5": John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota

Dewalt Guaranteed Tough Invitational Bull Riders Competition: Tampa Bay Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa

Sidewalk Astronomy: Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Dr., Holmes Beach

The local group of Deep Sky Observers, a Manatee/Sarasota group of astronomy enthusiasts, will offer the public a chance to view spectacular celestial sights through their high-powered telescopes 7:30-10 p.m. Sept. 22, weather permitting.
