Obama to campaign in St. Petersburg

ST PETERSBURG -- On the heels of the Democratic National Convention, President Barack Obama is bringing his campaign to St. Petersburg Saturday.

He will make an appearance at St. Petersburg College's Seminole Campus, Natural Habitat Park Field.

Doors open at 8:30am.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Tickets will be given on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Wednesday Sept. 5.
