Scott McGough (L, 1-1) loaded the bases by allowing a single, a sacrifice bunt, and an intentional walk. Kawika Emsley-Pai singled to right to put the Marauders on top 2-1. Benji Gonzalez cashed in another run with a ground out before Andy Vazquez capped the scoring with an RBI triple.

Quinton Miller pitched two scoreless innings for the win. Doug Salinas earned his 10th save in 11 tries in the ninth.
