Gift Ngoepe launched a two-run home run to account for Bradenton’s scoring in a game that was suspended in the middle of the sixth inning by rain at Bright House Field.

The Marauders do not return to Clearwater this season, so the game is a tie.

Matt Benedict pitched all five innings for Bradenton. He allowed two earned runs on three hits, walking three and striking out four.

The Marauders managed just three hits, and Ngoepe had two of them. Benji Gonzalez doubled in the second inning in front of Ngoepe’s two-run blast.
