LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Matthew and Doris Nessetti viewed 20 possible locations for their new medical practice before deciding on 3,100-square-feet of office space in Lakewood Ranch.
After officially opening AllCare Medical Centers in San Marco Plaza on June 25, the couple is confident they made the right decision.
"We like the idea of being in a mixed used area," said Matthew Nessetti.
The medical practice is one of two new tenants in the plaza, located at 8215 Natures Way. Arthur Murray Dance Studio is in the process of moving into the
shopping center and will offer international dance lessons and fitness classes.
The family-owned practice offers an array of family medical and psychological services that include pediatric care, preventative care and behavior health services. Patients will have access to their medical records through an online, password protected system and also will be able to make appointments online. Doris Nessetti is a licensed obstetrician and gynecologist and provides women's health services, surgeries, aesthetics, including Botox injections. Matthew Nessetti is a certified psychologist and psychopharmacologist in addition to being a surgical proceduralist. Within the past year, the complex has added roughly a dozen businesses.
Dave Neff, the plaza's real estate manager, expects the shopping center will be at full occupancy by the end of the year, including the ground floor of the Venetian-style clock tower located in the center of the plaza. The plaza recently orchestrated a weekly farmer's market and a plan for a $1 million Veteran Memorial Park in San Marco is underway, which will feature 8,500 plaques for veterans and a dancing fountain.
The project is expected to be completed next year."It's a morally uplifting area," Matthew Nessetti said.
The Nessettis owned a practice in Lincoln, Neb. but sold it. They made an offer for the office space in Lakewood Ranch in December.
Eventually, they plan to add nurses and a receptionist.
"We love the beach and love the schools here," Matthew Nessetti said. "We really enjoy Florida."
