Tyler Schoppelrey, utilitysenior, Bayshore
To his credit: Schoppelrey helped Bayshore reach the Class 5A playoffs. He hit .368 with four home runs, 18 RBIs, four doubles and three triples while committing two errors in 57 chances at shortstop. Schoppelrey also went 6-3 on the mound while posting a sparkling 1.11 ERA while striking out 87 in 69 2/3 innings.
Fast fact: Schoppelrey's favorite movie is "The Sandlot," which isn't surprising, considering it's a baseball cult classic.
