Jason B. Taylor, project architect with Fawley Bryant, is celebrating his 20th year of employment with the firm. Taylor began working in the field of architecture at the age of 16, through a business partnership between Manatee High School and Richard Fawley Architects, which later became Fawley Bryant Architects.

Steve Kempton, president of Taylor Morrison West Florida, will serve as a panelist at the upcoming Tampa Housing Seminar, which will provide insights and strategies for growing businesses in today's economy.

Dr. J. David Holcomb, a Sarasota facial plastic and cosmetic laser surgeon, delivered a presentation at the seventh International Congress of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies in Rome in May. The meeting was attended by more than 700 surgeons from 75 countries.

Dawn Cook of Legal Shield was named "Woman of the Month" at the Bradenton Chapter of SWAT Networking -- Successful Women Aligning Together.

Tracey Scalzo, with EuroTech Cabinetry Inc. has been awarded first place in the Small Kitchen Category of the 2012 NKBA Design Competition. The competition drew almost 500 entries from across the United States and Canada. Scalzo's entry also garnered the "Best Before and After" award for the "traditional-eclectic" remodel of a kitchen in the 100 Central Building in Sarasota.

The officers of the Gulf Coast Association of Health Underwriters, a professional organization for Health Insurance Agents in Sarasota and Manatee counties, recently were installed. George Jenkins of Sarasota will serve as president, Suann Southwick as first vice president, Mark Christiansen assecond vice president,Allan McCall as secretary, Jody A. Augustine aspast president, Donna J. Blizman as treasurer, Taylor Tollerton Collins as state legislative chair and PAC chair, Barbara Parcase as continuing education chair, Frances Lane as awards chair, John Lynn as membership chairman, Irene Chen as retention chair, Jeannine Stites as hospitality chair and Michael L. Breton as member at large.

Oma McCall has been hired by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce as its second new membership sales representative. McCall's primary goal will be to pursue and secure new business for Chamber membership and benefits.

Debbie Meihls, executive manager of the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, has been appointed to the advertising/Internet committee of Visit Florida. This is the thirdyear Meihls has been selected to sit on a Visit Floridacommittee. The advertising/Internet committee pro-vides industry input, feedback and counsel on strategic matters related to advertising and direct marketing efforts.

Tara Donovan-Poulton, communications manager with the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, also has been appointed to the communications committee.

Charlene Proeger of Proeger & Associates, Inc. has been appointed to the Professional Alliances Committee of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
