MANATEE -- Builder Taylor Morrison has instituted a Military Rewards Program that offers special discounts and incentives for military members.

Military who qualify for a VA loan will pay zero closing costs and zero down payment. They will also receive up to $5,000 in free design options for their new home. The Military Rewards Program is honored in all Taylor Morrison communities and may not be combined with any other offers.

Taylor Morrison allows enlisted employees to fulfill their service tours while maintaining job security and health insurance benefits. They also participate in Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit organization that builds specially adapted homes at no cost for severely injured veterans.

New mastectomyboutique opens

BRADENTON -- Uniquely You, a mastectomy boutique at 707 60th St. Court E., Suite B, will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting event at 6 p.m. June 19.

Uniquely You is a family-owned and operated business with an accredited facility and a certified mastectomy fitter. The business specializes in supporting and helping women through their breast cancer process and their post-surgical needs, providing them with external breast prostheses, mastectomy bras, swimwear, wigs, skin care and other accessories.

The business offers in-home visits twice a month.
