MANATEE - A 13-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday was found safe and unharmed Monday.

bout 7:45 p.m. Friday, Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report that Cristina Ramirez was missing from her residence in the 800 block of 60th Avenue Terrace East in Bradenton. She had left the residence after she became upset over her boyfriend, according to a news release.

“As she was leaving the house, she cut herself on the wrist with a piece of glass and made verbal threats about hurting herself,” the release said. “The injury to her wrist is believed to be minor.”

Sheriff deputies did not say how Ramirez was found.
