MANATEE -- A 61-year-old man who had barricaded himself in a residence in the 7600 block of Plantation Circle in East Manatee today was talked out of the home and taken into custody for evaluation.
Authorities were called and began talking to the man at 4:44 p.m. through an upstairs window and over the phone, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.
