The Los Angeles Dodgers signed relief pitcher Todd Coffey to a one-year contract with a club option for 2013 on Friday.
Coffey, 31, went 5-1 with a 3.62 earned-run average, while limiting opponents to just a .244 average in 69 appearances last season with the Washington Nationals.
Over seven major league seasons with the Reds (2005-08), Brewers (2008-10) and Nationals, the righty has a record of 24-18 with 11 saves and a 4.08 ERA.
