MANATEE -- An air-conditioner theft crime wave has hit Manatee County on Monday and today.

Six A/C units were stolen from three locations at 6400, 6404 and 6600 Manatee Ave. W. between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. today, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Three A/C units were stolen from a corporate center at 6404 Manatee Ave. W.

Two A/C units were stolen from The Center for Medicine, 6400 Manatee Ave. W.

One A/C unit was taken from Faces Salon at 6600 Manatee Plaza at 6600 Manatee Ave. W., the report states.
