MANATEE -- Two burglary suspects were arrested Sunday with the help of a pair of K9s with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 5:30 p.m. Sunday, LaDarius B. Adams and another unidentified man were arrested and charged with burglary after they attempted to break into a residence in the 2900 block of 51st Avenue Terrace West, according to a sheriff's office report.

When neighbors saw the suspects outside the home, they called the resident and when he came outside, the suspects ran, the report states.

Adams was tracked down to a boat storage yard by K9 Ranger and his human partner and surrendered, saying he didn't want the dog to get him, the report states.

The other suspect ran into Bayshore High School and then Manatee Technical Institute, where he was finally arrested after being tracked by K9 Frankie and his partner, the report states.
