The South Manatee Branch Library is having a Pearl Harbor 70th Anniversary Commemorative program at 1 p.m. today. Local VFW Honor Guards and bands from Lee Middle School will perform. Invitations were sent out to local veterans organizations. Veterans attending will be given sugar-rationing coupons to redeem for candy and invited to watch a John Wayne movie. The South Manatee Branch is at 6081 26th St. W. in Bradenton.
