MANATEE -- Boaters discovered the body of an unknown man floating in the water in between the tip of Anna Maria Island and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, the sheriff’s office reports.

The boaters brought to body to Kingfish boat ramp, a media release said. There was no evidence of foul play and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The man will be fingerprinted Monday for identification purposes, the release said.
