“Space Shuttle: On the Wings of a Dream”: South Florida Museum, Bishop Planetarium Theater, 201 10th St., Bradenton

“Space Shuttle: On the Wings of a Dream,” chronicles the history of aeronautics by allowing audiences to take a virtual trip through the storied Space Shuttle history and learn how it became an international icon for space travel. The show will be featured 2:15 p.m. July 14-15, 11:15 a.m. July 16 and 12:30 p.m. July 17. The show is appropriate for all ages. General admission: $15.95 adults, $13.95 seniors ages 65 and older, $11.95 for children ages 4-12, children ages 3 and younger are admitted free when accompanies by a paying adult. The South Florida Museum will host Film Fridays Series “Splash” at 6 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 12 featuring the following titles: “Flow: For Love of Water” July 22, “Morning Light” July 29, “Passage” Aug. 5, and “Waterlife” Aug. 12. Shakespeare’s Globe London Cinema Series: multiple locations

Four of the most classic Shakespeare titles will be shown in movie theaters nationwide this summer and fall in an exclusive four-part in-theater series. Captured in 2010 from the prestigious and internationally renowned Globe Theatre in London, Shakespeare’s theatrical London home, the Shakespeare’s Globe London Cinema Series will include “Henry IV Part 1” Aug. 1 and “Henry IV Part 2” Aug. 18 and closing with “Henry VIII” Sept, 15. Each performance will start at 6:30 p.m. and will include a special 20-minute historical perspective on the Globe, the reconstruction process, the work of Globe today, and a behind-the-scenes look at each production with interviews from actors and creative involved. Participating movie theaters are Sarasota 12, 8201 S. Tamiami Trail, and Hollywood Stadium 20, 1993 Main St., both in Sarasota. Tickets: $12.50.
