On June 15, the University Park Women’s Club ended its year with lunch and a meeting at The Founders Club.

President Susie Melum conducted the meeting. She thanked each board member for their contributions and all of the club members for their participation and support over the year. At the luncheon, the members donated more than $600 to The Manatee Food Bank. This money is used to help provide lunch for children in need during the summer months.

Before the board members for the year 2011-12 were installed, guest speaker Bob Bailey spoke on “Programmed to Win ... Avoiding The Negatives in Life.”
