Live stream | Haitian presidential debate at 10 a.m.

September 18, 2010

A debate among several presidential candidates in Haiti's November election will be televised live Saturday in Little Haiti -- the first of its kind.

Organizers hope the two-hour discussion -- which begins at 10 a.m. -- will spur presidential hopefuls to lay out their plans for rebuilding the quake-devastated country.

Held at a Petionville restaurant in Haiti, the debate will be broadcast at Konbit for Haiti, 521 NE 81st Sst.

The UM School of Communication media initiative Koze Ayiti is hosting the event, along with Konbit for Haiti, an earthquake recovery organization.
