Arthur D. Ginsburg, a senior counselor at the law firm of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, is being honored by The Florida Bar for five decades of membership and service. Ginsburg is among 166 attorneys who were honored for 50 years of membership during a recent luncheon at The Florida Bar’s Annual Convention in Boca Raton. He is a past president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, past Chairman of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, and was appointed by the Supreme Court to the Commission on Family Law.
Dr. Robert George, associate dean of academic affairs at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians during its annual conference July 31. The Distinguished Service Award honors an individual who has given of themselves to the support of the profession in an outstanding and exemplary way above the call of duty.
Arthur J. Mahoney Jr. has been appointed board chair of iTNSarasota, a non-profit organization that allows seniors and the visually impaired to maintain their independence through safe transportation services. Mahoney will lead the board on a number of initiatives to deliver on the organization’s mission of giving seniors access to transportation when they need it in order to live independent, connected lives.
Ben Searight, vice president of RS&H Construction Services, has been elected to its board of directors.
His main client focus has been working on projects for the Florida Department of Transportation and he currently serves as the area engineer for the Florida Panhandle and Alabama.
Liliana Rengifo of Bay Area Physical Therapy is the recipient of the quarterly FRED Award, which recognizes the employee that embodies the principles outlined in the best-selling book, “The Fred Factor” by Mark Sanborn. Rengifo used ingenuity and imagination to address the problem of how to provide a home exercise program for a Spanish-speaking patient who also does not read.
Olga Weider, an accountant at Christopher, Smith, Leonard, Bristow & Stanell, certified public accountants, has recently passed the exam to become a certified public accountant. Weider graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor of science in accounting and joined CS&L in 2005. Weider primarily works with the audit team of CS&L.

The Tradition of Excellence Award is an annual presentation to an outstanding individual in recognition of exceptional contributions to the legal profession and to general practice, solo and small firm practitioners. Quinlan practices in the areas of banking, corporate and agricultural Law. Michael M. Hamrick of the firm appeared in Super Lawyers magazine for 2010. This is the second time Hamrick was recognized in their list of top attorneys.
