Following are rates at which hospitals in Manatee and Sarasota counties recall outpatients who have had mammograms for a second visit. The federal government says hospitals recalling more than 14 percent of cases may be performing too many tests, while those who recall fewer than 8 percent may be missing possible cancer diagnoses.

Manatee Memorial Hospital 13.4%
Doctors Hospital 9.5%
Blake Medical Center 8.2%
Venice Regional Medical Center 7.6%
Sarasota Memorial Hospital 5.6%
Englewood Community Hospital 3.2%
